The Fig Tree

A single leaf, ample, ribbed, placed against the wall like an open hand. Its design is that of nature itself: irregular, generous, almost archaic. In its form, a soft shadow, a restrained light—as if the material still breathed. An echo of ancient gardens, it illuminates without revealing.
